Bonnie's Best Bakes was created after going through my mother's cookbooks and handwritten recipes. Although she's been gone for over a decade, I could see her as I looked through her recipes. I was transported back to when I was a child, in the kitchen with my mother watching her bake. As I got older, I would help her in the kitchen. Now in my own kitchen, I take her recipes of old, add a contemporary twist and have now created the menu you see for Bonnie's Best Bakes. It is my hope that when you taste one of these baked goods, it takes you back to a time when you remember how cooking and baking together as a family was a warm, heart-tugging experience.
